Give yourself plenty of time. You should start planning about 4 weeks prior to your big event.
Choose a theme. A theme makes planning your party much easier, and it sparks your guests' enthusiasm. Remember to keep it fun.
Plan more games and activities than you anticipate playing. Things don't always go exactly how you expect them to, so
with a few extra games in your pocket you will be ready.
Always remember to add non alcoholic drinks to your menu. Not everyone will want alcohol, and the designated drivers are going
to need something to drink. Music sets the tone of your party, so whether you and your friends like rock, blues, jazz, funk, etc. plan on making a playlist
full of music you will all want to listen to. Play background music to liven up the atmosphere. Make sure it's played loud enough to hear, but not so loud
that it's a distraction. Bite size munchies are your best options, make some starters that are not messy and do not require cutlery,
finger food is basically the best choice. Finally, just have fun with it and enjoy your party with your friends and family!
